Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

1. What this covers

This policy explains what data Neural Wave collects when you sign in, deploy or manage a bot, make a payment, or simply visit the site — and what we do with it. Neural Wave is an unincorporated project run by a single operator, not a registered company.

2. Data we collect

  • Discord account info: when you sign in, we receive your Discord ID, username, email, and avatar from Discord's OAuth flow. We also briefly check your server ("guild") membership and roles — for our own bot instances, to confirm you can manage the server you're configuring, and (for anyone we've granted developer access to a Discord role for) to check role membership at sign-in. We don't store your full server list.
  • Your bot's Discord token: if you provision a bot through us, its Discord bot token is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and only decrypted server-side to run your bot.
  • Bot configuration data: whatever you configure in the dashboard for your bot (feature toggles, moderation rules, auction settings, etc.), tied to your bot and its Discord server.
  • Payment data: processed directly by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, never your full card number.
  • Support requests: anything you tell us directly, e.g. via Discord or a feature/issue report form in the dashboard.
  • Anonymous site visits: we keep a simple daily visit counter (a date and a count) to see how the site is doing. We don't tie this to your identity, and we don't log individual IP addresses — an IP is used only in-memory, for a few seconds, to rate-limit abusive traffic, and is never stored.

3. Cookies

We use exactly one category of cookie: a strictly necessary session cookie set when you sign in with Discord, which keeps you logged in to the dashboard. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. Because this cookie is required for the sign-in feature itself to work, it's set regardless of the cookie notice — but you can always clear it by signing out or clearing your browser's cookies for this site.

4. How we use data

To operate and provision your bot, process payments, provide support, keep the dashboard secure, enforce our Terms of Service, and understand overall site traffic at an aggregate level. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

  • Discord — as the platform your account and bots run on
  • Stripe — to process payments and subscriptions
  • Our infrastructure/hosting provider — to run the servers your bot lives on

We don't sell or rent your data to anyone else, and we don't share it with ad networks.

6. How long we keep it

Bot configuration and token data is kept while your bot is active. When you remove a bot or close your account, we delete its hosted files, process, and stored configuration. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and dispute handling.

7. Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, request a copy of it, or ask us to delete it, by reaching out on the Neural Wave Discord server. We'll respond within a reasonable time. Removing your bots from the dashboard deletes their hosted data immediately.

8. Security

Bot tokens are encrypted at rest. Our hosting infrastructure is locked down to key-based access only, with no direct password login. That said, no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

9. Children's privacy

Neural Wave isn't directed at children and follows Discord's own minimum age requirement (13+, or higher where local law requires). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone below that age.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service changes. We'll update the "last updated" date above whenever we do.

11. Contact
